Ireland's 1 st Fire Engine Rally was held at Lock's Distillery Kilbeggan on 6th Oct. 1990 and their were followed by 2nd and 3 rd rally in 1991 and 1992.The rally organiser of the 3 Fire Engine Rallys was Mullingar's Station Officer Pauric Cullen.
At the time there were very little appliances in private hands and each year the 30 odd entries were from Fire Brigades around the country driven there by Firemen from those brigades..
