1977 Landrover FC /Bates beautifully restored by Noel Deady from Cork. Photo taken at Innishannon Steam Rally West Cork

The above appliance carried the reg CDZ 8285 and was Delivered to Crossmaglen from HQ on the 17/7/87 mileage reading on the clock on arrival in Crossmaglen was 400 miles . After finishing service it went to Dublin Civil Defence (AFS) and then to Kilkenny City Civil Defence (AFS) It was then taken into preservation by Dessie Durkin in Dublin .Des restored this appliance over 2 years and resprayed it red from its Civil Defence Yellow.
